Founded in 2000, Prime Time Palm Beach County, Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to ensuring that school-age after-school programs in Palm Beach County are of the highest quality. As an intermediary organization for youth development, we provide resources and technical assistance to after-school providers throughout the county. Our vision is for all school-age children and youth to have access to affordable, high-quality after-school and out-of-school programs. Prime Time's leadership strengthens community capacity to provide a range of quality after-school programs to all children and youth in Palm Beach County through an integrated system of quality standards and supports.
The centerpiece of our work is a Quality Improvement System for school-age providers, which includes self-assessment, external assessment, on-site technical assistance, training and program supports. Through local partnerships with a diverse group of nonprofit organizations, Prime Time makes available program enhancements to after-school providers who might otherwise be unable to offer such experiences on their own. These activities include short-term and long-term programming in Arts and Culture, Sports and Recreation, Health and Nutrition, Academics and Career Exploration.
